Andrea Munley is a qualified actuary who has worked in GI Pricing and Reserving in both Britain and South America. She began her career in Personal Lines Motor Pricing in the UK. Upon qualifying as an actuary, she moved to a multi-line Reserving role in South America. She has recently returned to the UK, where she is now the Pricing Manager for the UK Commercial Property portfolio of a large multinational insurer.
In this talk she will discuss recent changes in actuarial work, such as the rise of data science and the impacts of climate change, and how these will affect the careers of today's graduates.
