Join us at our upcoming AIR-Q Insurtech Forum: Impact of Digitalisation in the Insurance Industry, the main topic of discussion will be the impact of digitalisation in the supply and demand of insurance and the challenges it evolves in order to develop personalised products and greater speed and efficiency of services to meet changing customer needs by using AI.
You´ll hear from speakers currently working at Market Minds, Genpact, and Rainmaking Insurtech.
The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Dr Simone Krummaker, Course Director of MSc Insurance and Risk Management. The event will conclude with a networking session over drinks and nibbles, which is an excellent opportunity to learn more about a career in insurance.

Sabine is one of the co-founders of Startupbootcamp InsurTech located in London, and Hartford InsurTech Hub’s Accelerator located in Connecticut, USA and a pioneer in building innovation ecosystems. Over 25 insurers were involved with both initiatives, which accelerated 60 startup ventures and helped these raise over $100m in funding. In 2019, Sabine re-designed and scaled a new set of programming for Rainmaking called CoLab, a co-creation environment which eases corporates’ ability to achieve measurable outcomes from working with scaleups and young tech ventures. Utilising her extensive expertise gleaned from her consulting and execution work from working with 100s of well-known financial services and insurance institutions, Sabine is passionate about encouraging organisations to leverage the power of innovation in practical ways. From facilitating numerous early-stage start-ups and growth ventures to enter new markets in partnership with leading insurers, finance organisations, investors and mentors to supporting incumbent players execute effectively sustainable growth strategies. Sabine is recognised as a driving force within large and small market players wanting to become digitally enabled within their respective sectors. Sabine is a co-editor of the first crowdsourced InsurTECH Book, which was published by Wiley on May 11, 2018, a top 50 InsurTech Influencer and growth ventures advisor and investor. Sabine is a board member for TIA Technology and ACORD Solutions Group. In 2019, Sabine became one of the Women to Watch honourees from Business Insurance. Sabine is now serving as a board member on the Women to Watch Foundation.

Market Minds runs two major conferences in Africa and London and recently launched a first-of-its kind virtual accelerator, helping tech companies forge partnerships in the insurance sector. Sebastian previously worked at Lloyd's of London driving innovation for the corporation.

Michael is a Vice President of Insurance at Genpact with a focus on Transformation and Digital, currently he is working with a number of Tier 1 global carriers to design and deploy the future best of breed target operating models empowered through technology in a digital era. he has over 16 years of experience in the Consulting, Insurance and Technology industry with a strong business development and strategic innovation focus. Michael spent time at AdvantageGo & EY where he worked on a number of transformation projects for Lloyds and Large Tier 1 Global Carriers, He has a passion for driving new innovations and challenging what is possible in the insurance industry driven and supported by Technology. Michael graduated with an MBA in Innovation and Strategy from The Gordon Institute of Business Science in Sandton South Africa. He has also setup and ran a technology led MGA and Insurance brokerage in SA before moving to the UK.
