Jeanine Kwong is the Global Head of Investment Risk Oversight at Manulife,a leading international financial services group. She will be giving an online seminar titled "Modelling and Hedging Variable Annuity Guarantees – Challenges and Opportunities" on Wednesday 14th October 2020 from 18:10 - 19:15.

Jeanine Kwong is the Global Head of Investment Risk Oversight at Manulife Investment Management, the wealth and asset management arm of Manulife. Her team is responsible for second line investment risk oversight on liquidity, market and counterparty risks taken in investment products offered to retail, institutional and retirement clients globally. Prior to her current role, she held leadership positions in financial risk management and quantitative analytics at Manulife, including 5 years in Canada as Global Head of Equity Risk overseeing C$100B segregated funds and variable annuity risks in US, Canada and Asia and C$20B General Accounts Public Equity on-balance sheet exposures.

Prior to joining Manulife, she led the Financial Engineering team in the Annuity and Capital Markets Solutions Division at NN Life Japan (formerly ING Life Japan) where her team was responsible for the hedging strategies and modelling methodologies for its Variable Annuity business. She holds a Master Degree in Quantitative Finance (formerly Statistics - Finance) from the University of Waterloo. She also holds the Certified Management Accountant (IMA CMA) and the Professional Risk Manager (PRMIA) designations.
