The Blockchain Workshop Event

You might hear terms like “decentralization”, “cryptocurrency” many times in recent years and they all refer to one underlying technology – blockchain. You may wonder what blockchain technology really means and how it will change the world around us. The Chinese Careers Society and Cass Careers are inviting you to attend a blockchain based event on Tuesday 4th June 18.00pm-21.00pm. 

We have invited three high-profile guests to deliver the presentation jointly to provide a comprehensive overview about the blockchain’s core concept and some real-life case studies from financial perspectives:   

Dr. Vince Ming  - Regional Director of FST Network, UK. 
Dr. Vince Ming will provide detailed coverage and explanation on essential elements of the emerging tech - namely the DLT, with the conceptual views, and linking the dots to help consolidate the fundamental understanding of Blockchain technology implementation and its future implications. 
 
Chris Dos Santos - Head of Listing of CBX, UK. 
Chris Dos Santos will present a real-life case study (Craft Beer Coin) to illustrate the application of cryptocurrency and talk about blockchain from a financial perspective. 
 
David Kuang - Credit Risk Business Analyst and Project Manager, UBS, UK 
David has extensive experience in the arena of Treasury and Credit Risk Change. He will be discussing about some of the potential use cases in Blockchain related to Financial Industry.
