I am writing to announce and invite you to the first poker tournament of 2019 which will take place on the 19th of February. I hope you are all ready for a fun night of poker, with many decisions, and drinks.

The buy-in for the tournament is £20, and every player will begin with 5,000 chips and the tournament will be in a freezeout structure, meaning once you lose all your chips you’re out. The event will start at 18:00 sharp. The blind structure will start at 25/50, then 50/100 and rise every 15 minutes. There will be a small break to change chips and seating arrangements.

The officers will organise the table seating, and all the cards will be self-dealt. The breakdown of the payouts will be determined once we see how many people sign up.

There will be wine and snacks, but anyone who wishes to bring their own drinks is free to do so!

5-10% of the proceeds will be donated to charity.

Tickets will be sold at Cass and City campuses, and payment will be accepted only in cash by:

Cass Campus – Justin Keung ching.keung@cass.city.ac.uk ,

Nicklas Dederichs niklas.dederichs@cass.city.ac.uk

City Campus – Eugene Tomtsani evgenios.tomtsani-tomchani@cass.city.ac.uk
