Actuarial Science & Insurance Semiar with Robert Holzmann

Robert Holzmann is an Austrian economist and member Austrian Academy of Sciences, Vienna. He holds honorary positions at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, and at University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, and serves internationally as senior advisor on pensions, financial literacy & education, labor market and migration issues. Before his return to academia in 2012, he held various positions at the World Bank including for 12 years Sector Director of the Social Protection & Labor Department, Washington, DC. Before joining the World Bank he was academic in Austria and Germany, and senior economist at the IMF and OECD. He has published 34 books and over 150 articles on social, fiscal and financial policy issues.
