Growing leaders through internal executive coaching
Wed 1 March 2017 at 6 for 6.30pm
Paul Breckell, Chief Executive of Action on Hearing Loss
Christine Fogg, Principal Consultant, Centre for Charity Effectiveness, Cass Business School, City, University of London
In any organisation, especially a successful charity, leadership development is a crucial, and executive coaching can play a big part – but how to afford it? Action on Hearing Loss led by Paul Breckell, is one of a tiny handful of charities developing an internal peer coaching programme which saves money on expensive external coaches; gives middle managers a chance to operate as a coach, hugely beneficial in itself; and offers other staff the experience of being coached to help them in their leadership development. Neat or what? Christine Fogg will put this experience into the wider context and comment on how others can follow suit.
