This course is for people who have responsibility for leading the management of a charity's finances or contribute to strategic development and planning. The course is for those people who wish to improve the effectiveness of their leadership skills and develop their careers to the next stage.

Module 1: Leadership from the Finance Function

This session focuses on the principles and behavioural attributes associated with inspiring financial leadership, and goes beyond the traditional functional role of a finance leader. What are the particular challenges in moving the finance function to become a key decision maker and business partner in an organisation, and how can you overcome them?
